Triplematic Sealant extruder, Model HSG/48, is the new extruder designed for heavy duty, continuous use in the repair of tire casings prior to retreading. If your application requires temperatures outside the normal preset temperature of 180° to 200° F range, the HSG/48 will accommodate your needs. With its solid state temperature controller, it can be set to run at a temperature range of 150° - 260° F with a simple turn of a dial.

When using the HSG/48, tires can be prepared for retreading faster...with better results and a lower cost than with any other extruder or repair method. The HSG/48 eliminates edge curling...no trapped air...easier smoothing and edge feathering of butyl.

A powerful high torque air motor (.7 hp) extrudes as much as 38 lbs. of hot rubber per hour at 90 psi. Trigger control of the variable speed motor allows the operator to regulate the extrusion rate to handle any type of repair application...continuous flow, intermittent operation, small shots or beads.

A uniquely designed insulated heater chamber insures that all grip surfaces remain cool, even during long hours of extended use.
